Tatty bird was created by interior designer Natasha Birley, who adopts a sustainable and thoughtful approach to design. We source furniture and craftsmen as locally as possible to the project, appreciating and re purposing antiques, and using sustainable materials to create eclectic interiors.
After attending the Inchbald on a full scholarship Natasha enjoyed and learned various disciplines in the interior design industry. Tatty Bird was born to focus on creating totally unique spaces with as little environmental impact as possible.
Tatty Bird is committed to minimising it’s impact on the environment wherever possible. We believe that it’s important to all be as environmentally conscious as we can in our decisions.
Our environmental policies include:
-Recycling of all packaging from deliveries. We always leave packaging feedback with suppliers and will favour suppliers who don’t use plastic.
-Using Local craftsmen, we try to source everything as locally as possible. We love to find interesting local makers, which make our projects so unique.
-Correspondence conducted via email or google drive to save paper
-Made in England. We have an extensive list of British suppliers who we always recommend
-Tree planted for every project. We are proud partners of the Woodland Trust and will plant a tree every time we start a new project
